I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University and a core faculty member of Tufts' Center for Integrated Management of Antimicrobial Resistance.

I use microbiological and epidemiological methods to study how exposures to food, animals, and the environment can result in human colonization and infection with antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

I also enjoy science communication and outreach, and I'm especially interested in improving the public's understanding of public health risks.
